how is the battery life?
I saw one review on youtube say the battery life was supposed to be five hours but they may have had their facts wrong. I have found it to be a three hour battery life, then again I use the screen on full brightness. Someone suggested that I could get more than three hours if I dim the screen a bit.
is the video card integrated into the computer??As in, can i put in a better graphics card into it so that i can play games like modern warfare?
Well Oblivion does work on it but it’s really laggy…
This laptop is awesome! I’m going to make somebody mad but I went to get this laptop today at Best Buy for the advertised $599.99 (a good price anyway – compared to a $750 dell I saw with identical specs & components on display there) and to my VERY PLEASANT surprise the guy helping me (with a look of amazement on his face) told me the laptop was ringing up as only $450 because it was being discontinued! Man did I get the deal of a life time! I am elated. Praise God! Hallelujah. Amen.

@dozzy000 I got it yesterday. It was being discontinued I suppose by Best Buy’s suppliers, which doesn’t necessarily reflect other sellers. However discontinued products can give you the best bargains (as I discovered).
By ‘yesterday’ mean Jan 30.
Question…I just bought one similar to this…YESTERDAY at Bestbuy for $649.mine is the Gateway NV7915u Intel Core i3 330m processor.4GB RAM DDR3 800/1066 ( 8GB expandable )500GB Hard-drive 17.3″ Widescreen monitor.Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bitwhat my question is…which one is faster? the one I just bought ( which seems really fast )..or the older NV78 ( Core 2 DUO Centrino )Id like to know..because the NV78 model is $599 ( CHEAPER than the one I just bought )
